Stay the course

While the Trump presidency seemed to be at odds with global ecological priorities, it paradoxically revived certain lasting issues by re-inscribing them within a logic of national and European sovereignty : energy independence , data security, industrial rearmament, etc.
This redefinition is now inspiring strategic thinking in Europe about the relocation and resilience of territories . Investors, particularly institutional investors , are invited to play a central role in this territorial renewal , through targeted investments, supporting local value chains and key infrastructures .
Since Trump took office, their asset allocation has evolved, reflecting a shift in geographic exposure. Sectorally, tech , defense , and energy are favored. Faced with market volatility , investment departments must learn to seize new opportunities . What balance should we target today between listed and unlisted assets ?
Ten years after the Paris Agreement , the consideration of climate risks in institutional portfolios has progressed, but has the 2025 deadline been met? Has the trajectory set a decade ago evolved? What budget are investors now allocating to taking ESG issues into account ? With the first biodiversity charters having emerged in recent months, how can we chart the way for institutions and companies alike?
Here are some of the topics that will be on the agenda of the next National Investors' Day , which will be held on December 2 at the Pavillon Dauphine in Paris and which will bring together, as usual, the community of institutional investors.
